Kiyeon Lee is an educator and pianist who aims to unite diverse genres to integrate art and life. Inspired by how his music education workshop for persecuted refugee children visibly transformed their hesitant fear into joyful freedom, he explores transdisciplinary ways to empower and promote creative flourishing and social justice.

Kiyeon has performed around the world, including at the United Nations, where his original song enlivened UNESCO’s vision for global harmony. He has also composed and narrated a comic moral tale accompanied by the Parker Quartet at Harvard University. He has appeared as solo pianist in George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and plays cello with the Orchestra Society of Philadelphia. With the Harvard Pops Orchestra, he co-produced creative shows combining theater, dance, and multimedia. Moreover, he has acted with the One Year Lease Theater Company through its International Performance Residency.
